Waipi‘o Valley Artworks is located at 48-5416 Kukuihaele Road in Honoka‘a, housed in a charming historic plantation-style building just minutes from the spectacular Waipi‘o Lookout. The gallery has been a cornerstone of the local art community for decades. Spanning over 2,000 square feet of gallery space, Waipi‘o Valley Artworks represents more than 150 local artists working across a wide range of media, including wood art, paintings, photography, jewelry, ipu, ceramics, glass, baskets, and textiles. The gallery is especially renowned for its extensive and exquisite collection of koa and other locally sourced hardwood bowls and boxes. Visitors can discover exceptional fine art and distinctive handcrafted gifts suited for any occasion. In addition to its gallery offerings, Waipi‘o Valley Artworks features a grab-and-go café serving 100% Kona coffee, freshly made sandwiches, baked goods from Honoka‘a’s master baker, snacks, beverages, and the Big Island’s beloved Tropical Dreams ice cream. Guests are invited to relax and enjoy their refreshments on the covered veranda, complete with tables and seating overlooking the surrounding scenery.
